Ylle Pehk is a native Estonian who has lived at the Terra Mirim Community, Brazil, since 2006.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from University of Tallinn in Estonia and a Master‘s Degree in sports management from German Sports University in Cologne.
Ylle studied and lived in Germany for 13 years. That is where she met her spiritual teacher, shaman Alba Maria. This encoutner has changed her life - Ylle has been traveling with Alba to many unique and sacred places throughout the world.
Furthermore, the Shaman’s call in Ylle‘s heart brought her to Terra Mirim in 2002 for the first time, which instantly created a strong heartfelt bond to this special piece of land near Salvador da Bahia.
Today Ylle is intensively engaged in the shamanic community life and participates actively in its rituals, celebrations and spiritual works. In Terra Mirim, she carries out several community activities, such as food services, foreigners attendance, translations and others.
Ylle also organizes Alba Maria’s journeys to Estonia and journeys introducing the state of Bahia and Terra Mirim’s life for foreign groups.
